SNAPPS Releases Powerful Navigation Product for
Lotus Team Workplace (QuickPlace)
SNAPPS AnyPlace Navigator™ Provides Explorer-Like Interface to Enterpise Users
Overland Park, KS, Apri 15, 2005 – Strategic Net Applications, Inc. (SNAPPS) announced today the release of SNAPPS AnyPlace Navigator™ for Lotus Team Workplace. A unique product for Team Workplace (QuickPlace), AnyPlace Navigator offers several key benefits to Team Workplace customers. Companies deploy hundreds of places on a Team Workplace server, and users can have access to one or all of them. These users who formerly relied on bookmarks, favorites and a limited "My Places" feature now have a robust Explorer-like interface to all places, down to the document level.
AnyPlace Administrator is unique in that it gives companies an easy-to understand, point-and-click browser interface to an enterprise full of collaborative content. A single user may have access to millions of documents on several Team Workplace servers. Before AnyPlace Navigator, that user had to figure out where everything was stored and how to best access it.
Adding Value to the Investment
“We’re proud to release another product that complements and enhances the core offering in Lotus Team Workplace.”, said Rob Novak, noted industry expert and president of SNAPPS. “AnyPlace Navigator delivers on our core business practice of providing significant value.”
Notably, the product allows an administrator to create a number of "navigators", which are groups of places that may apply to a department, or roups of projects for executives to monitor. “Larger deployments of Team Workplace are installed as multi-server ‘services’”, explained Novak. “We built AnyPlace Navigator to accommodate any size installation, from the single server to the global 50-server deployment.”
Platforms, Pricing and Availability
SNAPPS AnyPlace Navigator™ was released on April 8, 2005. Per-user pricing is as low as $5-$15 dependingon volume, and includes one year of maintenance (upgrades and technical support) and installation assistance. The product is supported on Windows, iSeries (OS/400), AIX, Solaris, and zSeries (S/390), the same platforms as Team Workplace.
